Pre-Application Meeting Replay
A meeting was held on December 21 to review the development proposed for 1050 Valencia. 15 neighbors attended and found that none of their earlier concerns had been addressed in the plans presented by the architect, Steven Antonaros. The plans also failed to incorporate any of the suggestions made by the Historic Preservation Commission or the Planning Commission.
The proposed building will be 55′ tall plus a roof deck, including 15 units over a commercial space and 4 parking spaces. The plans also appeared to include rooms without windows and apartments without bathrooms.
Some of the neighbors’ concerns are the height and bulk of the building, lack of parking, having the service entrance on Hill Street, and the unit density.
